Full description | James Stoner with a bull, probably West Grinstead. James Stoner holds a staff as he stands at the head of a bull in front of farm buildings, possibly Park or Floodgates Farm, Floodgate near Knepp Castle. He has a beard and moustache, and is wearing a hat, jacket and waistcoat, working trousers and long boots. James Stoner was born in Upper Beeding in 1844 and in 1881 was living in West Grinstead.
