Full descriptionClass at Goring School, Goring, Worthing. Schoolchildren sit and stand in rows as they pose for a group photograph. Most of the girls are wearing pinafores over their dresses. Schoolmaster Mr Buster stands on the left. In the background behind a wall and hedge is the doorway to a building, possibly a church or school. Identifications written on the back indicate: back row, 3rd from right, 'Auntie Lottie with fair hair and fringe'; second row from back, 2nd from right, 'Ma'; second row from front, 3rd from right with head between the shoulders of two taller girls, 'Auntie Edie peeping through'; second row from front, 5th from left shorter girl, 'Auntie Win'.
