Full descriptionHigh Street, Crawley, looking south towards island block in centre of road before Bridgers shop was added. The whole block, known as The Square, was demolished in 1958. Shops and houses on either side of street, Smith's Clothes shop is on the right. The low cottages on the left between two gabled houses were demolished in 1898 to make way for church gate.
