Full description | A. E. Bastable & Sons Fishmongers and Poulterers, High Street, Crawley. This house was built for Mr. Richard Hall in the 1770s. During the middle of the 19th Century this building was the premises for The Morning Star Inn. In the 1880s the building housed Eli Yetman's Butcher Shop. By the 1890s it had been divided into two shops; a Butchers and a Fishmongers. In 1920 the Fishmongers was bought by the Bastable family and run by Mr Albert Bastable, seen here.
