Full descriptionSt. Margaret's Parish Church, Ifield, Crawley. Stone church with stone roofing. The oldest part of the church, the altar end, dates from early 13th century. It was extended in the 14th century by the inclusion of side aisles. Graveyard in the foreground. Many graves can be seen in the ground, but they have no head stone. Five wooden grave markers (two posts at top and bottom of grave with flat board joining them) can be seen towards the front of the image. Two head stones are in forground. Many head stones in background. In bottom left is a stone grave marker. Roger Bastable Collection.
