Full descriptionMuntham Court, Findon. General view across a park with sheep and cattle grazing to a large house with trees in the background. Built in 1743 and extended in 1765, the house has two stories and eleven bays. In the second half of the 19th century the house was re-designed in Elizabethan style. It was demolished in the early 1960s and part of the site became Worthing Crematorium. From the book 'History, Antiquities and Topography of the County of Sussex' by Thomas Walker, in which the image appears with the title 'The Seat of F.W. Frankland Esquire, by whom this plate is presented'.
